Pat Docherty

Club Captain

Pat assumed the Captaincy of Cawder Golf Club on Wednesday 2nd December 2009.

He is relishing the challenge of taking the club forward and is particularly proud of maintaining a strong family connection with Cawder, his brother Danny being a Past Captain and both their sons previous Junior Captains. Pat would like to extend a very warm welcome to all who visit Cawder.

Fraser Gemmell

General Manager & Secretary

Having been a member for some 12 years, and after a successful six years as General Manager at Letham Grange Hotel and Golf Courses, it was in May of 2008 that Fraser came on board in a professional capacity.

He has implemented many changes and looks forward to working with the Captain and committee members, to give the membership and all who visit the golf courses and clubhouse, a continued wonderful experience when playing at Cawder.

Neil McLennan

Course Manager

Neil McLennan began his career at Haggs Castle Golf Club and came to Cawder as Course Manager in 1994.

Along with his team, Neil has been the reason Cawder enjoys the reputation of consistently having the fastest greens of any inland course in the West of Scotland.

Both courses, The Cawder and The Keir are presented in immaculate condition every year despite the impact of recent weather patterns.
